Assignment of ridership data
Direct assignment uses the plausible path to charge the corresponding network objects, such as links, stop areas, vehicle journeys, and lines (Using Visum: Ridership data: assignment). Demand and skim matrices can be generated as an option.
Subsequently, any of the post-assignment analyses provided for public transport can be carried out.
- Volume display as bars along links (Tabular and graphical display)
- Flow bundle calculations (Flow bundles)
- Skim matrix calculation on the basis of directly assigned paths (if not already calculated at the direct assignment) (PuT skims)
-
Calculation of paths taking into account failed boarding (Fail to board)
- Calculation of PuT operating indicators, for example for line costing and revenue calculation (PuT operating indicators)
